Running a complex contract equipment hire business using a variety of time intensive manual systems was limiting the responsiveness and operational efficiency of the company. With the fleet spread across four sites at Coseley, Birmingham, Loughborough and Stoke on Trent, office staff found themselves under pressure having to repeatedly capture hire information, across the multiple paper-based record systems. An auto alert facility warns when equipment certificates are due to expire, and ensures staff with the right qualifications are correctly matched to hire equipment. The company also uses Syrinx to manage the training and development plans for its operators, lifting supervisors and support staff, maintaining detailed records of certifications and automatically managing health and safety renewal training as required.
